The first time they've met was in Brixton in 1993: James was then a policeman, and Leroy was a criminal involved with drugs and guns. Leroy was stopped by James for a drug search, and fired a gun at him in return. Since then James has gone through rehabilitation over his injury, and Leroy has served 17 years in prison.
