Bukayo Saka's hat-trick in England's 7-0 win over North Macedonia marked him out as a major part of Gareth Southgate's side. But while he's got the ability to excel against the so-called "lesser nations" it's how important he is against the world's elite that matters. He isn't Star Boy for no reason
For years we saw England come up against teams they were supposed to beat easily and score lots of goals against, and struggle to beat them. Now England regularly win qualifying matches comfortably, and if we say "North Macedonia were easy to beat", remember what happened to Italy! Players like Saka who create opportunities out of nothing against packed defences are vital to this. A multitalented but modest guy who works hard to improve further, good luck to him!
my boy.. very intelligent baller
I remember before the world cup when I told people I'd have saka over foden in the lineup if it came down to those two in a heartbeat. people laughed but they're not laughing now.

Ummmm kinna light, not much value added
From his early breakthrough games, one thing was certainly clear, there is something special about him. First thing that was clear was that he can run with the ball while also shielding it in a way that the opponent has no access to it in any way. And then his decision-making and execution, are absolutely spot on. Then, it was about finding his position in the team which Arteta found in that December game against
Lampard's Chelsea. In two and half years since and still at the age of only 21, he has already established himself as the top 5 wingers in the world.
Not just football, he beats racism 🙏🏼 My starboy 🤩
Arteta's coaching for you
Saka a great decision maker - Ljunberg noticed it first before his talent - he said he makes the right decision time after time
You mean qthe saka that went missing in the last 10 games of the season? Or the saka that bottled that penalty? Or the saka that turns up against international pubs teams? 🤫
"not unlike"
If only we had a word for that 🤡🤡🤡
His shot through the roof of the net from very tight angle with his weaker foot gonna be his trademark soon. Its really difficult for someone to duplicate that shot, but he did it 3times so casually in a single season. Thats mad for someone this young🎉
Excellent analysis AGAIN!
For me Saka is the Arsenal player of the season by a mile. Odegaard was excellent, but if you removed Saka from the team the entire season, Odegaard doesn’t come anywhere close to the statistics he achieved!
You said well when you pointed out that Saka makes things happen. He does! And when they start happening, it activates the strengths of others around him and causes them to thrive in his shadows.
I’m a bit disappointed he didn’t get this recognition from those who voted; but it’s not a simple analogy for many!
That’s why I love this channel, it consistently highlights unusual events that many analysts absolutely overlook or are simple just not good enough to even see them.
I loved this profile. I can trust you to do something about Arteta’s brilliant job thus far. For 33 games he was untouchable! A manager who’s only 3 seasons into his career, and he’s already broken the all time best Arsenal team records ever! (The Invincibles) in his first 3 years!
Simply insane!
When you pause and look at what Arteta has achieved with both Saka and Martinelli, then Odegaard and Xhaka in the final 3rd, it’s insane coaching to say the least.
He was always credited with the City offensive player’s coaching and many thought it was just talk to boost his ratings by Pep!
For me he’s the Arsenal player of the season and Odegaard is second.
I can already sense Arteta is reimagining the way Arsenal attacks for the coming season and that thought alone is scary and exciting!
I want to see who we buy; money is not an issue, I’m sure about that. But some links are not true. For me I’ll just wait for the end of the window really!
he gonna play for liverpool soon after salah gone
Shame he’s not with us, Moyes would turn him into a global star WHUFC
Everybody keep on about how north macedonia beat italy, anyone see the game? it was a long ball from the goalie that landed at their striker feet,it was a fluke 5 minutes before the end of time!
