Nosebleeds aren't usually serious. However, frequent or heavy nosebleeds may indicate more serious health problems, such as high blood pressure or a blood clotting disorder, and should be checked. Excessive bleeding over a prolonged period of time can also lead to further problems such as anaemia. #short #doctor #health

THE BEST SOLUTION FOR NOSE RESHAPING Are you concerned about your nose correction surgery and looking for the best non surgical rhinoplasty option? Great, you have landed at the right place. CARA is one of the best clinics for Non- rhinoplasty treatment in Mumbai. Non-surgical Rhinoplasty refers to the procedure of injecting dermal fillers. This is mainly performed to augment selected areas of the nose. This, in turn, assists in improving the appearance of the nose area in selected patients, like nose bump, depressed nose, flat nose, droopy nose tip, and more. These are non-permanent fillers that are used safely. Non-surgical Rhinoplasty is also known as 'Liquid Rhinoplasty,'. The filler used during the non surgical rhinoplasty is normally hyaluronic acid (HA) filler. This is mainly used to tweak the shape of the nose (nose reshaping). Hyaluronic acid is a natural sugar molecule that comes in the form of a gel. When the hyaluronic acid gel is injected into the skin, it blends with the skin completely & acts like a natural part of your skin. This means that you can't feel the fillers once they are injected, and the results look very natural. It should be well understood that Non-surgical Rhinoplasty cannot change either or all of the bone, cartilage, and skin. A Non-surgical Rhinoplasty requires topical cream-based anaesthesia without sedation, which ensures painless injections. The non-surgical Rhinoplasty can cause the disappearance of the nasal hump by creating an illusion, reshaping the nostrils, nose bridge lifting, nose tip, improving the nose tip projection, and much more. TO BOOK YOUR NOSE CORRECTION TREATMENT CONTACT US AT +91 7777034066 OR LOG ONTO 🤍 OUR DOCTORS Dr. Mohd. Asif (M.D, Dermatology) & Dr. Aleena Rehman (D.L.O, ENT), the founder of CARA Clinic, are among the first doctors who innovated Non-Surgical Liquid Rhinoplasty in India, together they helped to get the best Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty in India, at CARA Skin Clinic, Mumbai. There are different nose shape problems in different ethnicities, different ways to inject the nose, and different goals for how it will look. Also, people of different races have shown that they have very different ideas about what their noses should look like after correction. Most Caucasians need non-surgical rhinoplasty to make their noses smaller or thinner, but most Asians need it to make their nose bridges bigger. Half of the nose shape corrections in India, a country with many different ethnicities, are for low or flat nose bridges. The other half is for broken noses, big noses, or noses with a small to large hump. Hence, knowing the optimal approach for each ethnic nose is an essential prerequisite for almost every aesthetic practitioner performing nonsurgical rhinoplasty, especially due to the diversity of ethnicities within each population, massive population migrations & inter-racial mixings. Dr. Asif & Dr. Aleena Rehman, both are experienced and certified injector related to Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty and believes in providing the best possible customised solutions as per your facial features & ethnicity. Newborns and young babies cannot clear their noses on their own and need assistance with doing this. When a baby has a stuffy nose, it can impact their sleep and feeding. This video explains what you can do to help. For more information, please visit 🤍 This video is provided for general information only. It does not replace a diagnosis or medical advice from a healthcare professional who has examined your child and understands their unique needs. Please speak with your doctor to check if the content is suitable for your situation. VIDEO TRANSCRIPT: You can tell a newborn has a stuffed nose because he'll make snorting sounds when he breathes and sounds snuffly. He may also start breathing through his mouth, which can make feeding difficult. You can help clear your child's nose by running a #humidifier or cool mist vaporizer near his crib and using saline nose drops. If you have trouble wiping away the mucus, try using an infant nasal bulb, also called a nasal aspirator. Start by squeezing the air out of the bulb and gently placing the tip into the nostril, just inside the opening. Make sure you don't push it into the nose. Loosen your fingers on the bulb, which will help pull the mucus out of the nose with it. Squeeze the mucus out onto a tissue. Rinse the bulb well with fresh water before and after each use. To use a nasal aspirator, start by squeezing the air out of the bulb and gently placing the tip in the nostril, just inside the opening. Loosen your fingers on the bulb, which will pull the mucus out of the nose. Rinse the bulb well after use. Nose Examination OSCE and Nasal Cavity Inspection - Clinical Skills - Dr Gill One of the commonest presentations requiring a nose examination is a patient reporting epistaxis or a nose bleed. The examination of the nose should first review the external nose, looking for evidence of deviation. The nose exam then requires the use of a speculum or other instrument to assess the nasal cavity to review; the anterior nasal septum, mucosal membranes, and any sign of damage to Little's Area. It is important in the case of trauma, that a septal haematoma is ruled out. Assessment of the nose should also include a review of the turbinates, and any possible polyps, although only the largest of these would normally be visible here #NoseExam #ENT #DrGill
Leslie Gomez, a board-certified nurse family nurse practitioner (FNP-C), demonstrates a step-by-step process for conducting a saline nasal rinse. Instructions: 1. Pour ingredients and water into the sinus rinse bottle up to the dotted line. If you were instructed to add medication, add it in along with the saline packet. You can also warm it up in the microwave for about 30 seconds until lukewarm if you prefer for comfort. 2. Secure the tip of the nozzle into one nostril and bend forward over the sink or shower. With the nozzle pointed towards the top of your head, gently squeeze the bottle. The water will flush out your nose and sinus cavities and exit through your opposite nostril or your mouth. Try not to swallow the water, spit it out instead. Rinse about half of the bottle through each side. Make sure you lean forward from the waist and tuck your chin close to your chest. 3. Clean the bottle 1-2 times per week. Rinse out the bottle and wash the tip daily with soap and water. Allow to air dry. About once a week, clean the bottle and the tip by mixing equal parts water and hydrogen peroxide or equal parts water and bleach, shake it thoroughly and squirt the solution out of the tip to clean it through. You can also wash the bottle and tip in the dishwasher 1-2 times per week. Saline Rinse Recipe: 1 teaspoon NON-iodized salt 1 teaspoon baking soda Dissolve in 1 quart (32oz) of boiled or distilled water.
