This large home was originally designed and built in 1966. it underwent renovations in 1995, and 2004. it sits on a large, forested property, hidden away from society. it currently sits empty and abandoned for unknown reasons. i am unsure if its going to be redeveloped, or if there is another reason for it’s abandonment. this was filmed late spring 2023, and as of september 2023, a notice has been taped to the front door stating that the property has been seized.

The Sarriale family was no ordinary family. They were immensely wealthy and influential, controlling vast tracts of land and wielding significant power in regional politics. This was their family's home for almost 300 years! In 2005, Jean Louise, the last descendant of the Sarriale family, sadly passed away and left the castle to his wife. She found the place rather large for her to live in alone, so she sold it and moved into a smaller dwelling. The Kinugawa Onsen was once known as a nice onsen resort convenient from Tokyo. During Japan’s “bubble economy” of 30-35 years ago, around 3.41 million tourists visited this area every year. During that time, there was a surge of group travelers, including those taking part in company trips. Quite a lot of new hotels and ryokan were built to meet such demand. However, after the bubble burst, the economy took a dive and fewer companies arranged trips for their employees. In addition, with more and more other types of leisure and super sento bathhouse prevalence, tourists visiting Kinugawa Onsen gradually decreased in number. Initially built with large sums of investment money, the hotels and ryokan struggled to keep their heads above water. The final blow came when the local banks that supported the region went bankrupt. Additionally, upon sustaining damage from the Great East Japan Earthquake and from torrential rains and floods, they were ultimately forced to shut down their businesses for good. Why are the buildings still there? That’s because a considerable amount of money is needed to demolish the buildings, and many of the owners have vanished. As the demolition should otherwise be funded by citizen tax money, it is in reality difficult. And the fact that some abandoned buildings are located above hot spring sources, or adjacent to national routes and rivers, also make demolition difficult. The Aretha Franklin mansion is a 3-story house that was built in 1927 and is approximately 6000-square-feet. It backs right up to the seventh hole on the city’s prestigious and private Detroit Golf Club. The mansion features immaculate hand-carved woodwork and details throughout. It also had three beautiful stone and marble fireplaces. The first floor has a library, family room, two-story living room, kitchen and breakfast area and a solarium with stone-arched walls overlooking the terrace and golf course. The house was listed in 2022 for $1.2 million but was just recently lowered to just under a $1 million. With this mansion having that history and still having some of Aretha’s furniture and decor, on top of detroits comeback story, surely this historic mansion will sell soon. Thankfully I was able to document it all before that happened. *Update: The Aretha Franklin Mansion was sold in the summer of 2023 and renovations have begun. Most of the decor and furnishings that were left, are all gone forever. That’s going to come to the conclusion of Aretha Franklin’s abandoned mansion. In the picturesque city of Milan during the early 1900s, there lived a wealthy and powerful Italian family known as the Russo family. Children's toys and clothes are scattered about, and a Play-Doh toy set from 1981 sits on a dresser, remarkably still soft after all these years. However, the pièce de résistance of this exploration is the discovery of hundreds of records from a band called "Brigand." This band recorded an album in 1981, and the son of the homeowners played the synthesizer on that very record. Astonishingly, the synthesizer remains in its case in a bedroom that has seen better days, awaiting the return of its musician. In today's video, I find an abandoned house that once belonged to a fish keeper, but after they died all of their stuff was left in the house... INCLUDING THEIR FISH! So I searched the creepy house at night in search of these fish, and after finding empty fish bowls and a beta fish, I found a room FILLED with fish tanks! The fish tanks were all filled with green water and the fish were barely alive and wouldn't live much longer without my help! So I netted out all of the fish I could including cichlids, gourami, angelfish, albino plecos, goldfish, oscars, AND MORE! But things took a turn when we started hearing creepy sounds inside of the house, as we found a MONSTER arowana, gar, and ripsaw catfish living inside of the green slime water! We took back all of the crazy fish we saved and put them into my backyard ponds where they will have a second chance at life! Ikeshima or Ikejima (Japanese: 池島), also sometimes listed as Ike Island, is an island in Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan. Initially within the borders of Kamiura village, from 1955 until its merger with the city of Nagasaki in 2005, it was part of Sotome municipality. Thousands of coal miners who lived on the island were formerly employed there, representing the vast majority of its population. After decades of being a popular beach resort on the island of Barbados, the Almond Beach Village Resort had closed for the final time in 2018, after years of struggling. But the guests memories weren't the only thing it left behind. Today the resort has been left completely abandoned and open to the elements. A community built for miners in the 1850s, this community housed hundreds of people over the years. Many miners came and went, but overall, the community was happy and peaceful until 2017. A nearby town purchased the land and decided that the neighborhood bridge, which was the only way in or out, was a fire hazard. The bridge was built over 100 years ago and is made out of wood, and was declared it couldn't hold the weight of a fire truck. Instead of fixing the bridge, the now broke coal town evicted all tenants after a fire eventually happened. We will be entering a majority of homes and seeing what belongings were left behind as we admire the old architecture of these one in a kind neighborhood in a very historical area. if you enjoy the video, it helps my channel out by leaving a 👍 and consider subscribing for more exploring content! This beautiful unique Tudor revival house was built in the early 1900’s between 1920-1925, for a wealthy banker who lost it all shortly after the Great Depression. The original family who the house was built for only lived in the house for a decade before it was repossessed by the bank sadly in the early 1930’s. The house would sit vacant for around a decade before it was purchased by a new family who planned too make it there summer getaway too escape the heat of the city. It would remain in the same family until the 1980’s when it was purchased by a wealthy older couple. In the early 2000’s the wife passed away and the widowed husband went into assisted living, the house sat vacant and shortly after a fire from bad wiring caused a large portion of the house too burn. Unfortunately the house was condemned and now there are plans too tear this old place down. So glad to have been able to document this unique house, truly have never seen another place like it! In today’s video, I found MONSTER fish living in an abandoned pool! Someone has been stocking this abandoned pool with aquarium fish for over a year, and they need my help catching them out to save them before it’s destroyed! I placed 2 fish traps in the filthy green water and netted around to see what I could find! I ended up catching colorful cichlids, oscars, giant gourami, arowanas, exotic catfish, AND MORE! I also found turtle shells in the pool which we were too late to save… We also noticed mysterious bubbles coming up from the bottom, meaning something big was down there! So I decided to throw the cast net and I caught some MONSTER fish including tiger shovelnose catfish, alien fish, AND MORE! I then decided to wait till it gets dark to check my fish traps and try to spot the redtail catfish and other monsters in the abandoned pool… When we came back later that night we were SHOCKED at all the fish we caught including eels, gulper catfish, pacu, redtail catfish, AND MORE! We also ended up finding the arowana which we netted out and saved! We brought back all the fish we caught and put them into my backyard pond!
