Soul king got what he had coming. You cant decide to destroy what you built and expect the beings that you created to be ok with that. All these issues came from him and him alone. He also knew all this would happen the way it did. He could have prevented it but did not.

Kubo jammed important world building information into the light novels and rushed through the ending (which was understandable, the guy was sick for years). I believe it was Can’t Fear Your Own World. That book had pretty important information that instantly fixes the world building issues. He can add those critical pieces of information to either the War arc anime or the Hell arc manga, both would work great.

Hell arc could be the best arc in bleach, maybe even shonen in general.

Ichibei has a lot of explanation to do. Soul society is hiding dark secrets. Syazael Apollo was about to spout a big revelation to Ichigo when Ukitake's zanpakuto stabbed him and dragged him back to hell. This will make Ichigo curious and he will ask Ichibei the history of Soul Society.

By making them break there own laws.
E.g. Not killing Rukia yet, all shinigami captains giving ichigo back his powers in the full-bringer arc
